Meet Jia Ing
Podiatrist (DPM)

Dr Jia Ing completed her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine course in 2018 at the University of Western Australia, after completing a Bachelor of Science majoring in Biomedical Science. Jia was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia before moving to Perth in 2013. Since graduating she has worked in different private clinics in Singapore, Brisbane, and Sydney, and now has nearly 7 years of experience working as a Podiatrist.
Jia has gained extensive skills and knowledge in the treatment and management of lower limb conditions. She loves helping patients to get back on their happy feet and finds this very rewarding. She strongly believes it is important to understand patients’ concerns and provide a thorough and holistic approach or tailored treatment plan to them, as every patient is unique and different.
Jia is passionate about helping her patients to improve their foot conditions by utilising a combination of therapies and techniques. She enjoys all aspects of podiatry, having special interests in musculoskeletal conditions (especially plantar fasciitis and Achilles tendinopathy) and the prescription of custom orthotics.
Jia is a trained provider of SWIFT Microwave Wart Therapy, which is a highly effective medical microwave technology used for resolving warts, verrucae or papillomas. She also utilises Shockwave therapy to assist in the body’s natural healing mechanisms for conditions such as patella tendinopathy, plantar fasciitis, and shin splints.
Over her Podiatry career, Jia has attended numerous conferences and events to continuously update her knowledge and skills, ensuring that she is able to provide the most up to date and evidence-based treatments to her clients.
While not at work in our Perth CBD clinic, Jia enjoys catching up with friends, playing social badminton, and is a lover of coffee. Chat with her about your coffee
