Meet Karishma Velugula
Podiatrist (BBiomedSc, DPM)

Karishma Velugula graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from the University of Western Australia in 2024, following the completion of a Bachelor of Biomedical Science with a major in Anatomy and Human Biology. Throughout her academic journey, Karishma gained invaluable clinical experience in both urban and rural settings, including work in Broome, Bunbury, and metropolitan Perth. During her studies, Karishma also worked as an autism support worker, an experience that deepened her respect and appreciation for individuals with disabilities and their families. This further shaped her compassionate and patient-centred approach to care.

She strives to excel as a podiatrist, dedicated to restoring her patients ability to return to the activities they love most.
Her areas of special interest include sports-related injuries, pediatric podiatry, orthotic therapy, general podiatry, and diabetic foot health. She is committed to delivering personalised and comprehensive care to her patients.
